Aida, a lonely foreigner in Germany, believes radiation is causing hallucinations in her mind. Joaquin, a young musician is living at the border of Tijuana, the death of his brother haunts Joaquin. Both protagonists embark on an existential search, guided by mythical tales shared by real people. Their quests converge on a deserted island off the coast of Nagasaki, Japan. Stranded and isolated, they surrender to the island's memories.
